1973 Holt village

The units are placed in a pedestrian only park-like setting. Walking through the public space between the houses, the regime of public and private space is clearly presented and yet the density is far from suburban. Then there are walls, Taglietti's use of walls is always to shelter and to discretely reveal, to form enclosing courtyards that protect the occupants from the public gaze.
