1990 PZCCC
1990 Parliamentary Zone Child Care Centre
Admirably crafted the building derives a stature from the hipped umbrella roof and sculptural light wells. There is no doubt that this building belongs to children. Throughout the interior, the scale, the light, the colours and the forms are modelled with a deft sureness that result in the creation of a very special space.

Jury award report
An early childhood centre for children up to five years of age. Externally, this building is dominated by its roofs and internally, by a series of spatially diverse rooms designed to excite and stimulate its young inhabitants.
